He sought the finest ingredients from around the world, crafting chocolates that would set a new standard for luxury. Today, Teuscher is recognized as one of the world’s best chocolatiers, known for its rich history, craftsmanship, and commitment to freshness.

From the first handmade truffles to the wide range of exceptional confections today, Teuscher has remained true to its roots while expanding globally. Each chocolate is crafted with care in our Zürich kitchen, using only the finest ingredients, and shipped to over 20 locations worldwide, bringing a taste of Swiss perfection to chocolate lovers everywhere.

1932

EARLY BEGINNINGS

Mr. Adolf Teuscher Sr. opens his first chocolate workshop in Zürich, Switzerland, sourcing the world’s finest ingredients to create unique, handcrafted chocolates.

1947

THE BIRTH OF AN ICON

Teuscher introduced the revolutionary Champagne Truffle, made with Dom Perignon champagne, fresh butter cream, and dark ganache—forever changing the world of luxury chocolates.

1979

Global Expansion

Teuscher began expanding outside of Switzerland, opening stores in key global cities, including Geneva and New York City, bringing Swiss luxury chocolates to a wider audience.

2004

Entry into the Middle East

Teuscher opened its first store in Abu Dhabi, marking its presence in the UAE and further extending its global reach.
